Patients with Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes receive personalized inpatient and outpatient education from Geisinger Holy Spirit Diabetes Services, which has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Education. Services include:

Geisinger Holy Spirit­'s Center for Nutrition & Weight Management offers a full complement of weight loss services for patients who are overweight or suffering from obesity. Medical nutrition therapy (nutrition education) from a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) improves health outcomes and may help patients with medical diagnoses including:
o    Bariatric surgery
o    Behavior modification
o    Diet instruction
o    Exercise
o    Weight loss medications
