Patients with Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes receive personalized inpatient and outpatient education from Geisinger Holy Spirit Diabetes Services, which has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Education. Services include:

The board-certified (internal medicine), fellowship-trained infectious diseases specialists at Geisinger Holy Spirit have expertise and training in infections of the sinuses, heart, brain, lungs, urinary tract, bowel, bones and pelvic organs. They focus on all types of infections, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Along with their specialized knowledge comes insight into the use of antibiotics and their potential adverse effects.

Geisinger Holy Spirit­'s Center for Nutrition & Weight Management offers a full complement of weight loss services for patients who are overweight or suffering from obesity. Medical nutrition therapy (nutrition education) from a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) improves health outcomes and may help patients with medical diagnoses including:
o    Bariatric surgery
o    Behavior modification
o    Diet instruction
o    Exercise
o    Weight loss medications
