About us
Welcome to the newly expanded Geisinger Healthplex State College, located on 52 acres off the I-99 interchange in Patton Township. First opened in August of 2008 as a multi-specialty clinic, the facility is now doubled in size to 144,000 square feet, thanks to the recent completion of a year-long construction effort.
Geisinger Healthplex State College is the largest multi-specialty clinic in the Geisinger Health System. It now hosts expanded clinical areas for cardiology, GI/GI nutrition, bariatric, surgery, urology and pulmonology in its new wing. In addition, the first floor of the expansion features a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery and endoscopy center, plus pain therapy and pain procedure rooms.
Nittany Eye Associates and the Geisinger Ophthalmology Department are now located on the second floor of the new wing.
Over the next several months you’ll see a number of other changes as we remodel clinical space in the original part of the building to accommodate our growing pediatric, family medicine, and women’s health practices, plus advanced outreach sub-specialty services. Look for an expanded radiology area as well, as we strive to create a medical complex that is unparalleled in the Centre County region.
From primary care to specialty services to an outpatient surgical and endoscopy center, plus support services like lab, radiology and pharmacy, it’s all now conveniently located at Geisinger Healthplex State College.
If you have a previously scheduled appointment in cardiology, pulmonology, urology, surgery, endoscopy, GI/GI nutrition, bariatric, and ophthalmology, call your physician’s office to verify the location of your next appointment. We thank you for your patience as we continue to transition offices into the new wing, and remodel clinical space in the original office.

Geisinger’s Skilled Nursing Facility
Geisinger’s Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Program places Geisinger physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants in area nursing homes, to provide both acute and transitional care to patients, enhancing the care they already receive from the nursing home staff. Working closely with the nursing home staff to coordinate and improve patient care, the SNF Program streamlines patient transition from the physician’s office or hospital to the nursing home, improving patient outcomes and reducing the need for re-hospitalization: The Fairways at Brookline, State College.
